I joined this SAL
YOTA last month a bit too late to make a post but it gave me a chance to make a finish! I had already decided to make this the year of finishing UFOs so I hope it isn't cheating that I finished this so quickly. I have been working on this off and on for a while now but recently decided I needed a finish so I have been concentrating most of my efforts on her. This is where I was when I posted last week.
This is my finish of last night. After I had it done and off the scroll rods, I was kind of amazed at the size of her. Not
that large considering that it seemed to take FOREVER!! I guess its all relative to the amount of time you have to work on it and my stitching time has been admittedly short this month. Then I noticed the big crease across the top. I haven't been padding the Qsnap thingies on my rods but I guess I need to start doing that. I mean holy cow, I've already pressed it and that huge crease is still there!! Not sure what to do with it now. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I did manage to get a little time in with the Catherine Theron piece but that picture won't load in the right direction for some reason. I will post that next time if I get the problem figured out. In the mean time, I think I will go back to Ann Bowers and see if I can get caught up with that. The next assignment will be coming out any day.
I don't know how much time I will have for stitching this week again though. I have a board meeting on Tuesday and I have to start prep for our week at the beach. I will try to post again before I go but may not get a chance. If not, I will catch you up on all the beach stitching when I get back!!!
